Behaviour Support
Capable Juniors Academy Ltd is dedicated to providing Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) to children from Early Childhood to Teens and young adults.
Our team of experienced Behaviour Support professionals work closely with children/young people and their families to identify their behaviour needs and understand why a person may engage in inappropriate, challenging, or unsafe behaviour. Using effective strategies through PBS, our practitioners aim to assist in overcoming behaviour challenges.

PBS is an evidence-based approach our practitioners use to support children and teens who display behaviours of concern. It is also used to help families and support networks respond more effectively to those who display these behaviours.
The first step in PBS to identify why the behaviours of concern are occurring. Once we understand what a person is trying to communicate to us through their behaviour, we can develop strategies to better support them. These strategies might include making changes to the child/young persons environment at home or school so that it meets their needs, changing the way others interact and/or communicate with them, teaching the child/young person new skills or helping meet their needs (e.g. sensory needs).
We believe in a personalised approach that takes into account each child and young persons unique needs. At Capable Juniors Academy Ltd, we are committed to helping each individual to reach their full potential and succeed. If you have any questions or would like to learn more about our services, please feel free to contact us or submit an Expression of Interest here.
